At Affordable Storage Sheds, our sheds are built to last, and to look good doing it! Our quality starts with the framework and goes all the way through the roof!
We use ground treated 4" x 4" beams to level out the area for your shed to sit. On top of the beams, sits Fir 2" x 6" floor joist spaced just 12" oc (on center). We cover that with 3/4" CDX plywood as opposed to OSB particle board. CDX costs more to use, but it is a more solid plywood that will hold up to the weight of the heaviest equipment. CDX is very easy to sweep up and maintain. I always recommend a coat of porch and floor paint on the floor, it will brighten up the inside of your shed makes cleanup even easier.
At Affordable Storage Sheds, we build our walls to stand the test of time. We use Fir 2" x 4"s spaced at 16" oc. All of our windows and doors are framed in using cripple studs and built headers. The walls are capped off using an overlapping top plate. We wrap our walls in pre-primed T1-11 smart siding. We can paint your shed to color match the scheme of your house and trim.
A long lasting structure isn't complete without a water tight roof! Our roofs start with quality built trusses. The Gable style shed uses 2" x 6" trusses and our Barn style uses 2" x 4" trusses. All of our trusses are built in house using our custom jig. We miter cut every joint and fasten them together with double gussets and ring shank nails. Our trusses get tied together using 5/8" OSB roof sheathing. We wrap our roofs with heavy tar paper and 25 year com-posit shingles. We will color match and style match to your existing structure.
We are your local stop for all of your custom exterior building projects. Whether it is a small storage shed for your lawn equipment, a large pole barn for your farm equipment, a functional cover for your patio, a brand new deck,or a fence around the whole place, we can help. We offer competitive pricing and quality that goes above and beyond! Please call or email to set up an appointment to discuss your project.

Fence
This is a 3' cedar with a wrapped top and lighted arbor. Perfect for containing the little ones, and being able to see the rest of your property.
This monster gate is perfect for dumping the yard waste through. I love the look of the 6" x 6" posts. Notice the custom cut 45 degree angle cuts on all of the posts.
Im a big fan of building arbors over the gates. It helps strengthen the gate to prevent sagging, it helps it stand out and become a focus, and the solar lights tie it all together!
Although a little more expensive to build, the wrapped top fence not only looks good, it will add years to the life of your fence.
Gable Style Sheds
It sure is nice to have dry storage for your firewood!
This 12' x 16' Gable is wrapped with hardi plank siding and cedar trim.
Barn Style Sheds
This is a 10' x 20' Barn Style. The family wanted to be able to "camp" in it, so we built a big loft with a ladder. This shed is sitting on a concrete slab.
This 12'x 16' Barn style is going to be a retail store for a local lavendar farm. It smelled so good out there!
